This is my first handheld LED work light of it design for working mainly on my vehicles. So, I don't have others to compare its durability to, however, as you can see from the picture, durable this light isn't.This catastrophic failure is 100% to blame on the weak magnet base. I kinda knew from the first use that this might lead to the lights ultimate demise. Yes, both the regular and the mini have weak magnetic bases. As I was using this light, the light broke loose from where I had it mounted and I instinctively, and quickly grabbed for it, snapping its neck in the process. I promptly gave it a profane eulogy...On to the review for while it worked... +1 star - The main light, for its 2 settings are 5-stars. The tip light is "meh". +1 star - The battery life was great the few times that I used it and recharge time was pretty quick.-3 stars for weak magnetic base and fragile materials considering it working environment.
